I'm not sure that I could get away with a chinchilla too....although I do think they're beautiful animals! We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and my youngest son has 2 turtles, a firebelly toad, a 5 1/2 foot corn snake, and a bearded dragon!

I spoke with a co-worker.... she may be interested... needs to talk it over with her husband. We're also in New York....Delaware County, so not too far away....when I hear from her I'll let you know.

What do you mean by fleece liners? Do you take a couple of layers of fleece and cut it to the size of the tank?

The pet store in the Colonie Mall has Hedgies.....not sure if you want to go through a pet store, but the ones they have are about 10 weeks old now
