Our first three Chins my wife named Jack, Gus, and George no reason that is just what she wanted to call them. Then when we found out one was a girl and had little ones we kept only one which is an Ebony so we named her Eby. Then we got our first Beige girl and my wife named her Coral for her...

The ceramic pots are a really cool idea, i know that i have seen a few like that at Home Depot I did not think to look at Michael's or some of the craft stores too.

That is an amazing change in color. I have Bearded Dragons and Leopard Geckos as well and I thought that they had drastic color changes from babies to adult.

I never thought of just using the hallway, just goes to show everyone looks at play time for thier Chin's differently... I also like the 4' and 6' cardboard ideas too

To help him get used to you, you can try what my wife does she will just sit next to the cage and talk to them. Offer some hay thru the bars and just be around so that they are used to your presense.

A tent is a pretty cool idea i will have to tell my wife that one!!

Ok so my wife is pregnant so should i take over the taking care of the Chins now or is it ok for her to handle and clean the cages as long as she can physically?

We went and got Oxbow food and Timothy hay, i got a free feeder thing and as far as hay we just put some in as we need to if there is none we just add it in. OH and as far as the Male yes he is in his own cage now

Does no one have any knowledge one switching food while momma is nursing??
