the cage itself isnt bad but all the plastic stuff in it is.....I would remove all the plastic shelves and make or buy wood shelves and get a real chinny wheel not that plastic thing that will break if the chin really has at it in the wheel

So I moved to a house now instead of being in an apt this house has 3 bedrooms so now 1 bedroom is the chin room....my boyfriend is much happier about this because now his computers wont be covered in chin dust and hair and maybe since they will be contained in 1 room instead of the dining room...

ok We have both decided not to rehome my chinnies. We have invested in a air purifier (oreck) and im trying corn starch for a while see if that helps any. My boyfriend is on like 7 different allergy meds from the doctor nose sprays, eye drops, inhaler, 2 different pills you name it he has it...

Ok so i got a silver surfer now how do you mount it..... by that I mean when i put the hooks on the bars its either to low that is touches the ground or its like 6 inches off the bottom of the cage....I have a ferret nations.....anyone else with a silver surfer can you guys help out :banghead:

ok so I finally noticed something Dex likes to do. Last night he was sitting on a perch on his but with feet out in front of him holding onto the bars of the cage staring at me.......then I stared back at him and he cocked his head sideways like he does when he gets scritches then he winked at...

yea dexter is the rescue....some of the things that he sees in this cage I wonder if he has ever had the luxury of having before cause man does he love his fleece...and i gave him a shreddy and he went gaga over it basically ripped it out of my hand lol:wink2:

oh its just a couple of days shy of a full 30 days....today was his last vet visit and he got the all clear i figured 3 extra days wont hurt anything and he has been making those awful crying noises at night.....now to his paw it is an old injury according to the vet he may have been in a wire...

Well introductions went better then I could have ever thought....after Dexter had his last vet visit today and he got the all clear I went ahead and did a small introduction...I put them in a room with a dust bowl.....they didnt want anything to do with each other it was as if the chins were...

Update!!! We have decided to call the new chin Dexter (Dex) for short...he is doing great with his paws he is jumping ledges they are no longer swollen and doesnt baby them anymore did have to take him to the vet yesterday again he has come down with an eye infection but its being treated and...

yay...he is doing so much better his swelling on is paws is going down....so name wise help me out Im thinking either Freeway cause thats where he was found or Dexter (Dex for short) what do you guys think?....oh how do I get him to stop peeing on the wood ledges Gentle my other Chin doesnt do...

Alright guys he is doing better he has only been at my home for 5 days now and he loves attention.....he is holding his food with his paws now and more active so I think he is getting better even though his little pads on his paws are still a bit raw.....what should i put on his feet to help...

they didnt have to chase him it was so cold and wet that he just sat there sort of like oh my human they will rescue me sort of thing she said that he rode home the entire way on her lap and just slept.....ok so im attaching pictures of his front feet the first one is his deformed paw the second...
