    Sleepy chin

    This is a first for me, at least with my current chin. I scooped Diablo upfrom one of his platforms, as I often do, and usually I will get to hold him for a brief moment. Today, however, he decided to nuzzle up right under my chin and take a nap. It's the cutest thing.

    Change in behavior

    I recently took Diablo (my chinchilla) to the vet due to a swollen face from a spider bite. All is well in that area now, he is back to normal except now he won't let me near him. No petting, I can't even scoop him up for out of cage time and he stays in his igloo or on a perch when I feed...

    Seen vet...is this normal?

    I took Diablo to the vet last Wednesday. His poor face was all swollen, like he had a rabbit nose and chipmunk cheeks. He was thankfully still eating/drinking/poo normal/active.
