I do not have any rocks in his cage but I do give him a bath 2 or 3 times a week. I like near a beach in Florida so it gets very humid here. I don't have many ledges because his cage is not that big. I will probably picking him up a hammock to see how he likes it. I'm glad he wasn't unhappy...

Thanks for the replies. He does it after I'm done petting him. He has only done it twice. We were able to pet him a lot last night with out any noises.
