I made a wood bridge for my ferret nation cage. What is the best way to attach it to the cage? Pics would be great for anyone that has one.

I seen in a few pictures of peoples FN cages where they cover the back and sides of the cage with fleece. I'm assuming this is to reduce mess on the floor. Is this safe? ie. air flow

I have read all the info about what woods are safe and how to prepare them but I am wondering what everyone does with the larger pieces. I have some larger branches I would like to use as ledges but the obviously won't fit in the oven.

Thanks for the great ideas. Mine two just seem to end up with as much hay on the floor outside the cage as in the cage. Just trying to cut down on the waste since there is nothing wrong with what gets tossed outside the cage. They just like to dump the dish and throw it everywhere. lol

Does anyone have any good ideas for containing the hay in their cage? I have been using a terra cotta pot but my chins seem to spread the hay all over the level that I have it on. Makes for quite the mess when I clean the cages.
