One of mine regularly sleeps like this after he chews the stone above for an hour or so. He gets so tired he just passes out. Starts falling asleep while chewing even

One loves sleeping in his hut. The other one likes to lay on his side out in the open where he can wake up occasionally, chew a pumice stone, and pass out on his side for another hour

I have 2 chins and one I named my fiance named the other. Their names and reason behind it are as follows:
Boris: thought a Russian name on a South American rodent was funny
Leo: chinchillas are super small and usually timid. Complete opposite of a lion

When my chinchillas were younger one of them would run on the wheel. Not in, but on. Balancing on the very top and spinning it underneath him

My 3.5 year old male long-tailed chinchilla has been battling diagnosed bumblefoot for the past 1.5 years. Every time I go in to the vet they prescribe antibiotics and it gets better for a month or two then starts right back up. The vets don't seem to have a fix other than antibiotics then...
My 5 1/2 month old chinchilla lost a chunk of hair from his tail while being chased his brother chin.
Does this coarser tail hair grow back like the body fur? And what things do I need to know to rectify this?
Thank you all :)
