Someone please correct me if I am wrong. This is true of our dogs, so I would assume it to be the same with chinchillas.... Mastitis is an infection. Even with the antibiotics your kits are still drinking in that infection. Watch them closely, if you see runny poops or any signs of them looking...

There were a few chinchillas at a show last year that had green feet. We finally figured out that the owner had put green chew blocks in the show cages the night before to keep them occupied until morning!

Mosaics are my favorite babies by far.....but they scare the crap out of me!!! I've seen white whites (Jim's) and I've seen other whites next to his animals yikes! We may play with them someday, when we don't have yellow shavings!
