Hey everyone! I just got my Critter Nation tonight, and I really need ideas on how to design it! I know there are lots of pictures of the Ferret Nations on here but CN's are slightly different so I want to see what you all have done with them! Post some pictures and show them off!
I need ideas on ledges, shelves, cage bottoms, fleece, etc! :)

I will have to post tomorrow after I clean their cage, but I have a CN! The top and bottom are designed a little different so I will be sure to get separate pics.

Yeah! I would love to see them! I need lots of ideas! I went out and bought hardware today for shelves and fleece. I just need to know how to design it all!

This is the top portion, with doors open and closed so you can see what all I have in there.

And the lower portion, again open and closed, not as much on the doors of this one.

That is adorable! :) I love all the tubes and ledges. I finished most of his CN late last night, so I will post a picture or two later today. It was too dark last night to get a good picture!

I used fleece liners for the first time in his new cage last night and I'm surprised at how fast he can make a mess! We had pine shavings before, so it wasn't very noticeable, but this morning I looked in his cage, and he has pellets, hay and poop EVERYWHERE. haha! He must've had a fun night :)

Oh yeah, the dudes love tubes. Excited to see your cage! One of these days I plan to take out the middle and have one big cage, that would be tough to decorate though :p

Oh yeah, I took the middle out so its just one big cage. He loves it so far! I thought that it might take him a while to learn how to jump up to all the ledges since its such a big cage, but nope! He figured it out right away! He was so curious about it. He had to scope out every nook and cranny. It was so cute :)

I love your double hammock. Where did you get it?

Here it is! Finally done. It took a while because I was busy making the Fleece liner, hammock, and tube cover. Tell me what you think! We made all the shelves ourselves too :)

It looks really great! Though I'd suggest taking out that wheel. From what I've read on here those kinds of wheels are bad for chins. I believe their toes and such can get stuck. I'm sure other members could chime in on the other reasons though.

Agreed looks awesome except the wheel. Not only are the wire ones bad for their toes, but usually for their backs too. I recall something like 14" in diameter or more is required, plus 2" inches wide. I believe the bigger the better! Love E fleece and shelves though!

Oh yeah, I was going to say, don't mind the wheel, I've already taken that out! whoops. Oh, and I'm still waiting on the stand to come in the mail, too :)

My cage for nala & speedo

here's mine, currently a 162+162...will become a 162+161+163 (with opened walls, to provide 2x6 floor space on two levels for running and exploration) in two weeks?
