We've seen many situations both good and bad. This is one of the worst cases yet. A family was told that the two chins they adopted off craigslist were both boys. Wrong again.

The brother sister pair bred, reproduced, but were allowed to continue breeding nonstop. The poor things were crammed into a cage with up to 9 chins at once. By the time we got them, the pair were fur chewed from stress and had a history of biting. (Ya think?)

Three days after the mama chin came in she went into labor. A very odd labor. We managed to get it on video and the birth of a stillborn. If that weren't enough, the mama chin promptly bit the foot off the dead chin. Thank God he was already gone when that happened.

The video is not as bad as one might think.
I wanted to get the info out about the odd labor. I chin maneuvering like that is not "normal" even though she doesn't appear in distress.
We've got an excellent angle for viewing the birth and the mama is pushing rather than pulling the kit out. Very different from anything we've seen before.
The gross part at the end is somewhat obscurred, so it's not too graphic for the squeemish.
