Default RIP Sunny

Well, we just had to say goodbye to Sunny. He was almost 12 years old, and was suffering from malocclusion issues. He recently stopped eating and drinking, so it was time to let him go.

We originally bought him as our young son's pet - but he became "my" full time pet when our son went off to college two years ago. I'll miss laying on the floor reading a book with Sunny jumping on my back, nibbling my ear to get my attention. Never realized how much I cared for that little guy until the vet took him away......

I used to post on the old Chins-n-Quills board. Haven't posted much here, but just needed to tell some other chin lovers about him.

At least we still have Baxter (a rescue we took in a few years ago).

Chinchillas are not potato chips. You CAN have just one.
However, three is much more fun.
