Default Bald spot on nose- is it a fungus?

Hello, today I noticed a bald spot on my chin Chocoís Nose. I got her about 3 months ago, and have not had any problems. She lives with my other older chin Mimi, and they get along great, no fighting. I have been on a 1 week business trip, and just came back. I left them in my parentsí care, as I usually do during business trips, and I havenít had a problem. Mimi does not have any balding, only one broken whisker, which I think she did herself by being rambunctious.

They have an appetite, move vigorously, and are over all acting the same as before I went on my trip. If you guys can please take a couple of minutes to look at the pictures and let me know if you think itís a fungus or not, it would be greatly appreciated. I personally did not see the skin as being red or irritated.

Thank you!

Since it's a line, it kind of looks like she scraped her nose on something. I would keep an eye on it, if it gets bigger it might be ringworm fungus and both chins will need to be treated (it's very contagious).

On a side note, plastic is not safe for chinchillas, they chew it and if swallowed it can cause a blockage. I would replace the shelves with wood, and remove or replace anything else that is plastic.
