I have been thinking about getting a female Chinchilla. I have 2 right now both almost a year old. Would one get lonely or depressed If I got a female?

Do you have two males right now and are thinking of getting a female? Are you thinking of pairing one of your males with one female? Are you planning on breeding? Or are you asking if you have two males and get a female and house her separately if she will be lonely?

Why get a female unless you plan to breed? Your males may fight if you bring a female home. If you plan to breed does yours have pedigrees? What qualities do they have? Do you have the spare time, cages and money that breeding requires?
