Hi, I found a centipede in my bathroom and currently it’s under a glass... I don’t know what to do with it. It’s not too big but frankly it creeps me out quite a bit. It’s not one of the ones with the long legs, it’s the one that you would see in a movie or the ones that “kill mice”. I have a chinchilla close to the bathroom and I’m scared there might be more of the centipedes so I just wanted to know if they are dangerous for chinchillas and if i should look into it or just nothing to worry about. :)

Do you live somewhere that has "mouse killing" centipede species? If it's just a house centipede, it is unlikely any reason to worry, they like damp places, eat insects, and pretty much try to run and hide from anything bigger.
