My babies Rock!
I've owned or plan to own pretty much every type of rodent currently in the fancy in the states (exception being degu).
Hamsters and many other rodents have pouches in their cheeks where they store seeds, etc. to hoard. I've seen no evidence of this in chins, so I assume they aren't present.
However, some rodents also have a flap in the mouth/throat they can close while gnawing that blocks debris from being accidentally inhaled or swallowed. I've seen no evidence of that in my chins either.
Do chins have either one of these structures?
