fur chewer??

i noticed that one of my chinchilla lost some fur around his paw area,
and i read that fur chewing is rlly hard to treat, he has lots of toys/a wheel and 2 'brothers', he is very friendly and i never stressed him or anything.

Has he lost anymore fur around his sides? Or do you think the other chins are chewing him maybe?
 
It's hard to say who could be chewing him or he could be chewing on himself. Sometimes males will absolutely destroy each other's coats if they decide to chase and mount each other.

The fur that looks chewed right around his front leg looks like he must have chewed it. It could be a one time deal type of thing. Just keep an eye on him and see if he chews anywhere else. There's some you can do to help treat fur chewing, but not a whole lot especially if it is a behavioral issue an.
