Hi, our 4 month old male chinchilla recently started behaving as though he is itchy. I saw him once rubbing up against the cage. He has no loss of fur, but lately has been obsessing over his tail. Can't tell if he is grooming or chewing it. Anyway, I've noticed that is it is constantly poofy, and not in its relaxed state. Otherwise, his appetite, poop and thirst is all normal. His responsiveness is normal too.
