This summer I started weighing my chin..

According to his last owner, He was born Feb 14, 2014.
When I took him home in March of this year, he was 540 grams.
He was pretty consistent at that weight for a while.
Last few months he has increased quite a bit. Nothing really changed as far as his care goes. I started giving him probiotic cookies on a regular basis.
That would be the only difference in the last few months.

Now as of October he is 578 grams.

Considering their diet is mostly fiber, do chins get fat?

He gets Fuzzy-kingdom foraging hay, oxbow pellets, and one probiotic cookie per day as mentioned above, and bottled water.

He has a lot more ledges and a chin spin (that he loves.)
He has had the chin spin since I got him.

I thought they stopped growing after a year.

Not to quote that one comedian, but he is just fluffy? haha

Your chin is actually small At that age he should be at least 600 or more
I just realized you said 2014. A ideal weight would be 680-700 g
