I received a phone call around 7:30 pm from my vet that my chin had passed away. She would have been there 3 weeks tomorrow. The 1st vet thought she had a uterus infection the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. My vet will do a necrospy on her tomorrow.

What an anniversary present to myself.
 
AWWWW I am sooooo sorry to hear about Kahootz(love the name btw)! Obviously you did everything that you could do... I know that doesn't make it easier but it was out of your hands....

You are an excellent chin-mom as you did everything within your capabilities.

I talked to my vet and picked up Kahootz this afternoon. The vet said that she had an abscess on her intestine about a quarter size. There was nothing that they can do unless they did exploratory surgery that it wouldn't have shown up on a x-ray.
