The Clueless
My beautiful beige baby boy Eve, about 11 months old, died June 22nd, two days after being neutered. Nobody is sure why, as a thorough checkup was done beforehand and he was healthy, except for his heriditary blindness. I will probably always feel guilty, and urge people to think seriously about any non-essential surgery; while never a death sentence, every surgery contains risks.
He was an incredible little boy; I only had him for a month, but he changed my life forever and showed me that even if someone has disabilites, they will kick the world's butt with their sass and love you unconditionally if you are patient and give them your heart. I will never let what happened to him happen to another animal, if they end up in my care as a vet or owner.
I love you baby, and I will always rub your belly, watch you grab my fingers with your little hands, and give you raisins in my dreams.
