My sweet smudge passed away a little while ago. I found him on the floor of his cage barely breathing. By the time we got the emergency vet on the phone he was too far gone. He will be missed so much by me and his cagemate Noble. He was always the first at the cage door wanting scritches and trying to jump out of the cage when I opened the door. I am hoping to get a necropsy but the vet thinks he had a blood clot in his heart.
