Does anyone have any advice on how to get my hedgie to stop biting? He'll bite ANYTHING that goes near his mouth, and if it happens to be a body part, he just won't let go.
I use unscented everything, and wash before I handle him. I don't jump, scream or put him down afterwards. Blowing on his face only gets him to bite harder or readjust his grip. He has drawn blood a number times.
I'd like to be able to hold him without a snuggle bag or blanket and not have to think about what body part he's going after next.
Thanks!
